Dr Harvey Lewis
Harvey Lewis is a Director at Deloitte and leads the Artificial Intelligence and Cognitive Computing area for the UK firm’s consulting practice.
Harvey is a real-life rocket scientist, data scientist and thought leader with 25 years of experience in the domains of analytics, machine learning and cybersecurity. He has worked for clients in the public, private and charity sectors, including defence and national security, banking and retail. He is a regular public speaker, commentator and writer, focusing on innovation, disruptive technology and government policy.
He is the author of numerous Deloitte reports, including “Talent for survival: Essential skills for humans working in the machine age”, “From brawn to brains: The impact of technology on jobs in the UK”, “Bricks and clicks: Mapping the future of branches”, “Big data: Time for a lean approach in financial services”, and the “Open data” and “Data Nation” series of Deloitte Insight reports.
Harvey is a permanent member of the Advisory Board for the All-Party Parliamentary Group on Artificial Intelligence, and former member of the Public Sector Transparency Board and Open Data User Group.
Harvey lives in Hampshire with his wife and sons.
